That feel when you’re #soclose to working the heel of your sock project!!! #sockknitting #knittingproject #myprojects #knitting #almostthere
Turning a heel is just magic.
current sock knitting projects! The left is in KnitCrate’s June Sock Crate yarn in the pattern My Fergus Socks from ravelry. The right is KnitCrate’s May Sock Crate yarn in the pattern Leaf on the Wind from ravelry. Both are coming along nicely but I haven’t done much with either of them bc I became a bit lace-obsessed for a while!
Back to Socks tho! I love them.
(sorry for the crappy lighting in the photos I had to use the flash on my phone)
Yet another #newknittingproject on the needles! This one is the #oldworldshawl from #ravelry and is knit in more #jojolandharmony from #momosknittingnook here in town. I’ve become obsessed with lace knitting lately! #knitting #knittingproject #myprojects

Cozy Elastic Bind Off for #lifeiscozy_tutorials ➰
Happy and a bit nervous to share my self-invented technique with you ☺️
I was searching for a way to bind off the ribbing that would give me a very elastic yet not too loose edge and could be performed without the grafting needle. This search ended up with the invention of this method, which is actually a combination of several bind off techniques.
I love to use it for all kinds of cuffs, as exept for the elasticity it also has a very nice braid-like edge that polishes the look of a garment ✨Both the video and the instructions are for 1×1 ribbing. But this bind off can be also used for any other ribbing (2×2, 3×1, etc.) – just repeat the part for knit and purl stitches the desired number of times.

Needles of a Nation: Knitting at the Great Exhibition of 1851 – Interweave
Progress on the renaissance fan shawl- just did the transition row and am working towards finishing the tips of the big ‘feathers’ before moving to the edging.
did I do this right
*tries not to click ‘to finish’ folder* If you don’t look at it, it doesn’t exist…
The Renaissance Fan shawl is done! All blocked with the ends woven in!
It was pretty nice out today so a bit of a photo shoot in the garden seemed like fun.
