Watching episode two of the original Star Trek series. Captain Kirk is explaining to a young man how not to slime on a woman. That if she wants you, you’ll know. And if she doesn’t, you have to accept that.

It’s a huge theme of the episode, and Kirk is portrayed as knowing How To Be A Man.
